I've just bought some more trainers for running (Mizuno Wave Rider 9) from Northern Runner in Newcastle. It is costing me a fortune to replace my footwear, although hopefully it will solve my feet problems once I get my custom insoles. The woman in Northern Runner was very helpful, I tried about 4 or 5 different pairs of shoes and some of the shoes in various sizes. Then when I found the most comfortable pair I ran along the corridor at the back of the shop to try them.I can't try actually running in them until after Monday in case they are no good when I go back to the Podiatrist. If I have ran in them I obviously can't take them back to the shop.
