Roadkill

Not quite sure what I just ran over or if indeed I did run anything over. I had been down to Crook to renew my library books. On the way back the car in front braked so I did as well. Then I saw about half a dozen tiny animals in the middle of the road scattering in different directions. Not sure if the car in front hit any or not.

I tried to avoid whatever they were but was hard when they were all over the place. When I looked back afterwards it looked like there was 2 not moving but I never felt the car hit anything and would of been impossible to hit both of those anyway because they were too far apart.

My first thought was that they were tiny puppies, they were only about 2 inches high maybe less and about 3-4 inches long and a light brown colour. I don't think they could of been though because any puppies that size would of only been a couple of days old and these were fast very fast. So god knows what they were.

Could have a walk past later and see what they were if they are still there.
