Guns N Roses

I went to the Metro Arena tonight in Newcastle, I booked 2 tickets over a month ago. A mate from work was going with his lass and their mates, so I hooked up with them and sold my spare ticket to another of his mates. I was originally hoping to go with someone else from work rather than selling the ticket cheap to someone I don't know but with being off work I haven't seen anyone.

Anyway, the night ended up being really good. The main support act weren't really my kind of thing "Bullet For My Valentine", the others I was with didn't like them either. We had to wait for over an hour for Guns N Roses to come on after the support act finished. People were getting fairly angry, but the moment "Welcome To The Jungle" started everyone forgot all about the wait.

They played pretty much all of the their Greatest Hits other than Paradise City, which after the concert I heard a few people moaning about, I thought jesus why they twisting they played just about every major song except one. The only song I was kinda dissapointed about was "Don't Cry", it was played but only as a guitar solo and not with the whole band.

In the end it was an excellent night and I am really pleased I went to see them, much better than expected :-)
