MP3 Player Nightmare

I have had a nightmare with my MP3 Players today, at the moment I'm trying to Restore my iPod back to factory default. I hadn't used it for a few days and when I switched it on. It came up with a picture of a folder and an exclamation mark, telling me to go to www.apple.com/support/ipod.

It appears somehow my iPod has become corrupt, tried to run the iPod Updater progrm but it froze. Then my iPod just came up with the Apple logo and nothing else. So I put it into disk mode and tried the Restore which looked like it was working. It told me to disconnect from the computer although it still said do not disconnect on the ipod. It seamed to reboot OK once plugged into mains power. Yet it then started coming up with the exclamation mark again. So I am trying to Restore it again, the iPod Update program takes ages initializing. Its been saying that for over 10 minutes but took ages last time.

I had a hassle this morning trying to get my old Muvo NX wokring properly. The music had disappeared from it and when I connected it to the computer it said there was only 70MB free yet it was empty.

I had to download some new firmwire and drivers for it to fix the problem and then reformatted it. It seams to be working OK now. I used it when I went for a run.

I then decided I would try my Creative Zen Micro which I hadn't turned on for months since getting my iPod. It wouldn't turn on at all because the battery was drained. I have it on charge at the moment. Hopefully there wont be anything wrong with this one?
