Lazy Day

I can't be bothered to do anything today, not in the mood to concentrate on anything. I switched the computer on and just stared at it and thought bugger this.

I'm now laid on the bed listening to Coldplay - X&Y (never got around to listening to it all until now) and writing this on my laptop. There was no milk in the house, so was gonna walk up to the shop but as I was getting ready it started to rain. It's about half a mile to the shop but decided to take the car rather than get soaked but have felt really bad ever since for being so lazy.

How have I got to this point, where I hardly have any motivation to go anywhere. I feel like I'm starting to lose focus on the things I want again. There has been times over the last few years where I have hardly been in the house but recently I've hardly been out of the house!

Need to find another hobby besides from computer that is gonna get my arse out of the house. I like walking, fishing and cycling but just can't be bothered at the moment. Especially this time of year when its too dark in the morning and at night. So the only time you can do any of them is the weekend, even then I don't. I need someone to do them with, none of my mates could be arsed to walk or cycle anywhere.

As I look out of the window it is stopping raining and brightening up (slightly). Decided to take some pictures of what I can see. There are 3 below:

Looking straight ahead, the camera makes things look closer. You can see our greenhouse, shed and garage with the horses in the field behind. Then the woods and Crook away in the distance.

Looking to the right out of the window, this is exactly what I can see as I type this. The bush is in next doors garden. In the distance behind that is the farm where I spent years of my childhood helping out and messing about. Then behind that is the woods.

Looking left out of my window all you can see is the horses again and fields. People wonder why I say I couldn't live in a town or city looking at another house. When you've spent 26 years looking at this you should see why :-)

I decided to take a picture from the other side of the house, besides for mine and the neighbours cars. There is a large playing field, then again fields for about 2 miles before Sunniside on the hill.

Maybe this is what I should do to get me off my arse go for walks and take pictures, especially of the areas I used to knock about in over the years. It's suprising how much places have changed since I was a kid.

While typing this I've decided to go and find the old photos :-)
