I would of thought GPS would of been installed in all trains to help prevent rail disasters years ago. But looks like they are only just getting around to doing it now. Reminds me of a quote from a film "Just like British Rails gets you there in the end" same with technology, they eventually get there.. See this article about GPS use by British Rail.
