I'm back home cooking my tea. I am doing the Great North Run next year because I am angry that I didn't really push myself. It was hard running on my own and having never run the distance before, I didn't know what to expect. I have had my official time now and its:

I am disappointed with it, I know I could of easily knocked 20 minutes off that if not 30 minutes, but hindsight is a great thing. Next year I will know what to expect and will do proper training.
Having moaned, at least I got round, I started to get cramp at 11 miles. I could give lots of other excuses but ultimately I didn't push myself enough. So I will return next year to actually prove myself :-)

Are you never happy?? You have never ran this distance before and have done it in a great time for gods sake....for once just be proud of yourself will you!! You did great...congratulations you moany git lol.
Always have to strive to do better but yes it was an achievement. Never would of believed I could do it a few months ago :-)
