Yesterday I went on the Weardale Railway from Wolsingham to Stanhope on a steam train. I've always wanted to go on it from when I was a kid and I used to see the normal train go up in the summer from Bishop Auckland while I was fishing at Frosterley. So it was a bonus to now be going on a steam train. It cost £7 and was definetly worth it (for me anyway). I wouldn't say it was the best organised thing I've been to. With being told different return times from Stanhope and having not seen any advertising. If it weren't for a group of about 20 walkers there would of only been about 5 people on the way up, that's including me and my dad.
