I have finally succumbed and ordered the Wainwright Guides Anniversary set. I have looked at the books in the library and book shops. I've also often looked at them on Ebay but never bought them.The box set has been on special offer for a while, so after watching a BBC programme all about Wainwright I decided that I finally had to buy them.
They are unlike any other walking books I've seen and I intend to take the relevant book with me when I'm walking. I just hope the delivery estimation is wrong (4-6 weeks)
