Weardale Way: C-L-S to Sunderland Bridge

Distance: 12.6 miles
Time: ?

It's taken me ages to post this up because my GPS didn't track it correct when walking through Durham, so I have just posted the route as I drew it out. I need to check the route time with my dad who started walking the Weardale Way with me from this section.

I quite a enjoyed this section probably more so than the first, maybe because I knew the area better or more likely its just a lot cleaner and more to look at.

I will add some more to this post once I've checked the timings from my dad's GPS. Oh yeah click the image to the left to see the map in a more readable size.

Below are a couple of pictures I took along the route.

Footbridge over to Finchale Priory

Looking over the field to Newton Hall and can just see footbridge over the railway that I run over on a dinner time.
