I have now just ordered my base layer from The Mountain Factor which seems a smaller store but who cares as long as it turns up. They haven't charged me anything for delivery either I just hope that isn't a mistake.
Icebreaker Mondo - This came second in TGO magazine for base layers. I can't find the winner anywhere, it was dearer anyway. The actual one reviewed was the Oasis Crewe which is the version without a zip and it was said thats what it was missing. so hopefully this should do the job. It costs £45, which sounds expensive and I guess is but its made of Merino wool which is generally more expensive.
That's it for my shopping probably until next pay day, unless I see an MSR Pocket Rocket cheap.
