New Years

I went out last night with a few mates, Jay, Kev, Wayne and Mick. We ended up down Crook first and about 9:30 me, Wayne and Mick got a taxi to Billy Row because we had bought tickets the other day for the George. For some reason they had decided to put a strict limit of 65 tickets and no one else could get in. There certainly wasn't 65 people there, we ate some of the food then decided after an hour to go back down Crook again.

We met up with Kevin again in Bar 56 but never saw Jay again. We saw the New Year in there but I can't really remember anyone saying it was new year or anything but can remember sending texts saying happy new year straight afterwards.

Then I said we could go to mine if they wanted but we decided to go to Wayne's instead. It ended up being a laugh and can remember being forced to dance to some dance DVD with Shannon (Wayne's daughter). I can remember chasing her around the house as well and think I knocked a door off its hinges oops, I don't think I imagined that.

It was a good night anyway but probably my last night out for a while drinking. I am going to do some serious walking over the next month. I will be starting the Weardale Way on Saturday from Sunderland.
