Romaldkirk & Cotherstone Walk

Distance: 6 miles
Time: 2 hours 10 minutes

Today I went for a walk with my parents using a route from a walking magazine. The route is shown on the map above from Romaldkirk to Cotherstone and back to Romaldkirk. It's a nice walk which I found easy and there isn't much gradient to climb or descend.

There are some gorgeous old houses along the route, a couple can be seen in the pictures below. I wish I had done this walk about 4-6 weeks ago before all the leaves had fell off the trees. It would look stunning with all the autumn leaves on the trees.

I must be getting fitter because I found this very easy while my mother was out of breath at times.
