Looking back

Its the time of year again when I look back over the year and see what I've done and how I felt.

When I started thinking about 2006 I forget about moving into my house, it seems so long ago now. I was thinking I didn't do much until May, only after looking back through my blog that I remembered that it was the beginning of the year when I bought it and spent the next couple of months doing work before moving in!

Then once I moved in I started going out to all sorts.

January - Nothing really
February - Exchanged House Contacts
March - Working on house
April - Working on house
May - Moved in, went to Hi-Fi North, watched boxing in London
June - Walked Ben Nevis, saw Bon Jovi
July - Suspended from work, walked part of Peninne Way, saw Guns N Roses.
August - Still suspended until end of month, walked Crinkle Crags and camped, Newcastle Match, Leeds Festival
September - Robbie Williams, The Subways
October - Ross Noble, Great North Run
November - Muse, watch boxing in Glasgow
December - Iron Maiden, Kasabian, Basement Jaxx, Peterlee Xmas Night, Dirty Pretty Things.

Compared to previous years I have done loads and have probably missed loads from the summary above. I was asked a month ago if I was dying or something because I was doing and planning all sorts of things. I said no, but I should of replied we start dying once we are born and our clocks start counting down.

I have had a good year, I would of said fantastic if it wasn't for July and August and being suspended from work. I experienced the lowest point in my life in July and found myself in a dark place I would rather not visit again. I suppose it spurred me on to do more things because you never know what shit someone is going to throw at you next.

So on the whole missing out the work problem I had a great year with some real highlights to look back on and remember. Next year will be even more action packed I hope :-)
